What is MLB Pitch Hit & Run?
Pitch Hit & Run (PHR) is the official 1-day skills competition of Major League Baseball. Boys and girls compete individually in three fundamental baseball and softball disciplines:
Throw strikes at a designated target from regulation distance. Points awarded for accuracy.
Hit a ball off a tee for maximum distance and straight accuracy down the line.
Sprint from second base to home plate for an electronic or timed speed score.
Top qualifiers advance from the local CWS showcase to the Team Championship at an official MLB stadium, with finalists invited to the Major League Baseball World Series!
