Cultural Wealth Sports — Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1

How much does it cost to register for Cultural Wealth Sports?

Accepted Answer

Normal registration is $199, but our Last Minute Registration rate is just $99 per athlete — a $100 savings. This covers the official reversible league jersey or kit, weekly games and practices, certified coaching, the end-of-season playoff trophy, and SportsPlus team app access. MLB Pitch Hit & Run is free to participate (join the waiting list).

Question 2

Do you offer sibling or multi-child discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Sibling discounts apply automatically: the 2nd child gets $10 off, the 3rd child gets $15 off, and the 4th child gets $20 off. You can register multiple children and select multiple sports per athlete on a single registration form, and the discounts calculate automatically at checkout.

Question 3

What is a Legacy Athlete and how does the $50 for life work?

Accepted Answer

Legacy Athlete pricing is for returning players from our first two seasons who already own their official uniform. Instead of the $99 registration, Legacy Athletes pay just $50 for life — no new uniform cost. Toggle the Legacy Athlete switch on the athlete's card during registration to apply it automatically.

Question 4

Can I register my child for more than one sport?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Each athlete card lets you select multiple sports at once — NFL FLAG, Girls Flag, Jr. NBA/WNBA, MLS GO, and CWS Cheer. You can also add additional children to the same registration and choose a different season (S4 Fall 2026, S5 Spring 2027, S6 Summer 2027, or S7 Late Summer 2027) per athlete.

Question 5

Is there a payment plan or financial assistance?

Accepted Answer

We offer community scholarships and flexible payment arrangements. Contact Commissioner Christopher Warren at 863-563-6334 or info@culturalwealthsports.com to discuss options. Our mission is to make premier youth athletics accessible to every family in Davenport and Central Florida.

Question 6

What ages can play in Cultural Wealth Sports leagues?

Accepted Answer

Boys and girls ages 4–17 can register across all programs. Every one of our 5 major sports — NFL FLAG Football, Girls NFL FLAG, Jr. NBA/WNBA Basketball, MLS GO Soccer, MLB Pitch Hit & Run, and CWS Cheerleading — starts at age 4 and runs through High School 17U divisions.

Question 7

Which sports does Cultural Wealth Sports offer?

Accepted Answer

We run 5 nationally affiliated youth programs: NFL FLAG Football, an all-girls NFL FLAG league, Jr. NBA/WNBA Basketball, MLS GO Soccer, MLB Pitch Hit & Run, and CWS Cheerleading. All are official leagues with national backing, not rec-league knockoffs.

Question 8

Do you have an all-girls flag football league?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We run a dedicated all-girls NFL FLAG football league so girls have their own teams, divisions, and pathway. We also offer CWS Cheerleading and full Jr. WNBA basketball divisions.

Question 9

Is flag football contact or tackle?

Accepted Answer

NFL FLAG is non-contact flag football — no tackling, no helmets, no pads. It's the safe, fast, skill-first way to learn the game and the official youth pathway backed by the NFL.

Question 10

How many seasons per year does CWS run?

Accepted Answer

We operate 4 full seasons per year: S4 Fall 2026 (Sep 27 – Jan 16), S5 Spring 2027 (Jan 16 – Apr 3), S6 Summer 2027 (Apr 10 – Jun 19), and S7 Late Summer 2027 (Jun 26 – Aug 28). You pick the season during registration for each athlete.

Question 11

When and where are games played?

Accepted Answer

Games are played at premier turf fields and gyms in Davenport and the Central Florida region, including Northeast Regional Field at 50945 US-27, Davenport, FL 33897. NFL FLAG plays on Sundays while Jr. NBA, MLS GO, MLB PHR, and Cheer play on Saturdays, with Friday evening scrimmages for some divisions.

Question 12

Accepted Answer

The Fall 2026 NFL FLAG season kicks off with the Combine & Draft on September 27, Week 1 (Season Opener) on October 11, and the Championship on December 16. The other sports follow their own Saturday tracks starting October 24–25.
